Olsburg's Kaffe Hus - One of the Reasons We Love Kansas!
For many years the residents of Olsburg have known that the Kaffe Hus (Swedish for Coffee House) has been one of the best kept secrets around.
With the Spring issue of Kansas! Magazine the secret is out!
We love our local restaurant, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Owner Sherry Quigley was the original owner back in the mid 1970's when the Kaffe Hus opened it's doors for business.
After several years, Sherry came back to once again work her magic in the kitchen and has become a renewed asset to the community.
If you have never had the opportunity to indulge yourself in one of the wonderful buffet's Sherry creates, you need to be sure and put this item on your bucket list.
Sunday features pan-fried chicken (from a cast iron skillet), tender roast beef, real mashed potatoes, two vegetable choices, several fresh home-made salads and you will NOT want to miss the cinnamon rolls! Home-made pie is also available for dessert for an extra charge.
Friday and Saturday's buffets selections vary, however they are equally delicious and the cinnamon rolls are always a featured item.
Make sure that the Kaffe Hus in Olsburg, Kansas is on your "places to go" list!
We are very proud of Sherry and the fine job she does of representing Olsburg at the Kaffe Hus!
